Samaritan's Child
by D. L. Sharples
The Good Samaritan didn’t ask for references before helping the
man on the road. Neither does Doug Greenlee worry about Dino’s
past when he finds the teen in need of help outside his trailer park
home.
When Dino Martelli witnesses a murder committed by his mother’s
wealthy boyfriend, he chooses to run rather than tell. After wrecking
his mother’s car and hiding in the bed of a pickup truck, Dino lands
in a trailer park in rural North Carolina, and is taken in by self-
described “Old Hippie,” Douglas Greenlee.
