A battle of the bands results in a deeper rivalry and the members
of a Christian students club find themselves “persecuted for
righteousness sake.”
When the principal of South Stiles High School decides
separation of church and state means a Christian rock band can't
play the Homecoming concert, and also that the lyrics of a Goth
group are too offensive, the members of both bands mistakenly
blame each other for losing the gig.
The rivalry pits Tyler Dorset, the
lead guitarist of the Christian band,
against Noah Dickerson, the
charismatic lead singer of the rival
band. Friends on both sides are
caught up in the conflict.
Noah commits a petty act of
vandalism designed to look like a
member of the Christian Students
Union is responsible. But when the
scheme falls apart, one of his
friends decides to take vengeance
further... into violence.
